The closest airports to south-eastern Sicily are Catania Fontanarossa (about 65 km from Syracuse) and Comiso (about 85 km from Syracuse).
By car
The car is the most comfortable way to reach the apartments from the airports. From Catania Fontanarossa you can reach Ortigia in about an hour via the A18 Messina – Catania motorway and then the SS-124. The apartments in the other villages can be reached in a maximum of two hours of driving.
From the Comiso airport you can reach Syracuse in about an hour and a half, while the other towns are closer.
Bus
From Catania Fontanarossa airport you can reach Syracuse with the Interbus Airport CT-Syracuse route. From Comiso, on the other hand, the extra-urban line managed by Azienda Siciliana Trasporti is active.
Train
The busiest railway station in the area is that of Syracuse, located on the Messina – Syracuse and Gela – Syracuse lines.
